Description of Services
Diagnostic : Diagnose computer for hardware and or software problems. This fee will be waived if work is authorized.
System Restore : Restore system to factory default condition using customer/manufacturer supplied CD's/DVD's or useable restore partition on PC's hard drive.
OS Reinstallation : Reload Operating system from a Windows installation disk either customer or Computer Guy supplied disk. Install hardware drivers, Windows updates, secure OS with free antivirus and malware protection.
Virus / Malware Removal : Remove viruses, spyware and or malware. Install Windows security updates, make sure an antivirus is installed & updated.
Drive Backup - Bare Metal : Bare metal backup is one where a computer system is backed up from bare metal state. This type of data recovery will allow use of the backup to restore the operating system, application data, user data, and software.
Drive Transfer : Copy an entire hard drive to a larger drive so as to have more space or if a drive is about to fail this reduces the risk of down time.
Data Backup/Recovery : This is a backup/recovery of personal and application data only applications themselves cannot be backed up. Data recovery cannot be guaranteed if recovery is not successful a discount may be applied to the invoice.
Up to 10GB............... $1.50/GB 10-25GB....................$1.00/GB
25-50GB................... $0.75/GB 50GB and up.............$0.50/GB
Monthly Data Storage : Data that is backed up or recovered will be kept on our server for 30 days free of charge this is to extend that time frame up to one year. Prepay discounts are available.
Service Call : Service call is on site work the first hour is included in the cost.
* This cost does not include media. Media must be provided by the customer or can be purchased for an additional fee. Note purchase of media may delay time for work based on media availability.
# All Hourly Labor is Billable in 15 minute increments.
